UNLV is not a good school for an international - if possible, you should choose a residential campus where most students live on campus or in student apartments near campus, not a commuter school. As an international, the residential life will be essential to your integration into the community. In addition, Las Vegas would not be a fun city to live in (and if you’re into gambling, it’d feed your addiction.) Look for “college towns” - there are tons of lists online.
