Chances for international students

Hi,
Im an exchange student from Germany, and right now Im attending high school in 11th grade. Im gonna go back to germany when this school year ends, and im gonna be graduated in germany. But its my dream to come back to the U.S. for college. First I thought about Columbia, but Im pretty sure, that I won’t make it for that.
I wanna go to undergraduated Stern Business School, and then 2 years of graduated Stern Business School, but what test scores do I have to hand in when I apply? I always read about SAT, but we don’t have SATs in Germany. That I read about the TOEFL test, is it enough, if I only take the TOEFL?

How are the chances at all, to get into the College? What’s about financial aid for international students?

Thanks for ur help,
Loximus

At NYU there is no financial aid for international students. NYU requests that you either submit the SAT with two SAT subject tests, the ACT, or AP tests I believe? Correct me if I’m wrong.
The TOEFL test is not an option if that’s the only test you’re going to submit.

Actually we do have the SAT’s in Germany. You have to take the Reasoning test, the subject test and in addition to that the TOEFL test. Instead of the Sat’s you could take the ACT.
I would say you should start to prepare yourself for college from the moment you are back in school again. Take things slowly research the tests and take your first tests so you can get to know them better. As an international student it’s always good to take the SAT several times so you can score better.
