<p>Hey, my name’s Harris, and I’m from New York. My SAT 1 score (one time taking it) was a 2360. My SAT 2 in Physics was a 790, World History 780, and Math Level 2 800. My GPA is currently (unweighted) 3.97.
Freshman Year

  • Courses: World History, English 1, Honors Chemistry, Honors Geometry, Spanish 2, Studio Art
  • Clubs: Habitat for Humanity, Chess club
  • Freshman baseball
  • Summer: DNA lab in Long Island, CTY probability and game theory, volunteered in library, hospital, and animal shelter. Self- studied German and continued to do so in 10th-11th grade.
    Sophomore Year
  • Courses: Spanish 3 Honors, English 2 Honors, Trig. Honors, AP World History (5), AP Physics (5), computer graphics
  • Key Club, Chess Club, Habitat for Humanity, student government, Herald (school newspaper), Science olympiad
  • JV baseball
  • AMC 10 (qualified for AIME)
  • Community service in library, animal shelter, and hospital
  • Summer: Science Research in UPenn (work was published almost 7 months afterwards)
    accepted into Number Theory in PROMYS (did not attend due to research), precalculus from CTY</p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me, Harris. Your stats are amazing, whats your class rank? Your research and math/science achievements (AMC, AIME, RSI, etc.) are also very impressive. If you work on your essays and have good enough recs, you’ll most likely get into all four of the colleges you listed. Also, just curious, what is your school’s reputation for sending kids to schools like these? </p>
