Are the sports JV or Varsity? Without further explanation, it doesn’t seem like your ECs show a particular passion. What are your greatest passions?

If you ask which of those colleges are most likely to accept you, I would have to say JHU and Northwestern, just because they would be easier for others as well. Not saying JHU and Northwestern are easy to get into, but they may be easier than Stanford.

Also, do you have any hooks?

Cross country and basketball are varsity. Soccer is JV. My greatest passions are politics, public speaking (reason I started the debate club at my school), and the overall improvement of society and civilization itself. As for hooks, I’m just a military brat. I don’t get a lot of good opportunities since I move around a lot, but I do my best to make the most of them.
