What should I improve?

improve sat to 2300 + for scholarships.

Make sure your grades jr. year are great.

Try getting a leadership position (FBLA officer or something)
Try get in National Honor Society or something for your senior year (more EC’s never hurt)

Other than that, just keep your grades up and try to improve your sat score.

I’d say you have really good chances of getting in if you keep on the path you’re on. Any recommendations are really just to make it a lock and improve your chances for scholarships and the honors college.

1400 plus for scholarships. UMD doesn’t look at writing and 2300 is overkill when scholarships are not very number driven. Just keep your grades high, and if you’re aiming for scholarships, you would need more original EC’s (I don’t know what FBLA is though). Leadership in an EC won’t hurt either.
But I’d say you’re definitely on the right track for admission.
