chances for me please?

<p>Hi, I’m a rising senior and I was wondering if anyone could chance me. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>Washington resident. Asian American, uh Chinese to be exact.
GPA: 3.9767 UW, 4.2-4.3ish W
Rank: 39/352 <---- will this hurt me?? i’m worried because its top 11%.
SAT I: Highest from one sitting - 2120, (Superscore - 2210)
SAT II: Math IIC - 710</p>

<p>APs: Language & Comp - 4, Calculus AB - 3
Taking 4 more this year</p>

<p>ECs (not many) :

  • Volunteering hours: 700+
  • Interned with a family practice doctor
  • Vice President of Free the Children Youth in Action
  • My art has been published in the newspaper and shown at regional shows.
  • Varsity track for 3 years
  • 10 years of piano
  • NHS
  • Several community service awards
  • Who’s who, national society of high school scholars
  • NYLF Medicine
  • the usual assorted school clubs</p>

<p>Programs (I’m considering):

  • UMKC
  • Boston U
  • Drexel
  • RPI
  • USC
  • TCNJ
  • U of Miami</p>

<p>I know I’m a reach, but is there any hope for me? :)</p>

<p>it totally depends on what schools youre looking into. don’t quote me on this, but youre gpa looks pretty in order. i would try to raise the sat scores- in general, 2250+ seems to be considered competitive for combined programs. also, i would take several more sat2s because i’m pretty sure most of these programs require around 2 sat2s. i dunno if this applies for you, but i would suggest taking the mandarin sat2 if you’ve been keeping up with you’re chinese. most of the people i know got 800s on it, so it might be a good boost for standardized test scores…
