<p>I know Midd looks for great test scores but do you suppose I have a chance at Middlebury after visiting & applying early decision? Thanks!</p>

<p>You’re right at Middlebury’s 25th percentile for ACT scores, the GPA is also probably on the low side (not sure, though, since I can’t find any numbers for that on their admissions profile), and the campus visit probably won’t make a huge difference in terms of giving you a “demonstrated interest” boost (most schools don’t care much about visits, to my knowledge).</p>

<p>On the other hand, you’ve definitely taken the most challenging courses available at your school, and your extracurricular resume is absolutely incredible (Sports, leadership, music, work, and all that volunteering? Man, where on earth do you find any free time?!). With the early decision boost, I’d give you a decent chance. Medium match to low reach sounds about right.</p>
