<p>I would say that you have great chances at all of those schools, except for MIT. You have great stats and amazing EC’s, but MIT is a reach for anyone. Anyway, good luck in college!</p>

<p>Thanks! I consider MIT a really far reach unfortunately, especially with my test scores. I’m getting recruited as an athlete and their financial aid is really generous so at this point its my #1 choice.</p>

<p>Also forgot to mention that I work full time (40+ hours) during the summer and 16-20 hours during the school year (including soccer season) as a barista at Starbucks (obviously) and a lifeguard/swim instructor at the pool.</p>

<p>Pretty good candidate. Good GPA and SAT, SAT IIs are good but for MIT you may be needing higher. Overall I’d say you have a decent shot at most of those schools, the reaches are reaches for everybody.</p>

<p>Your ECs may set you apart from others for your reach schools.</p>

<p>Might also look at Tufts and Holy Cross.</p>

<p>Thanks SoCal! Yeah my SATIIs are a little low because I had to take them in the midst of the AP exams in May. I figured there’s no point in studying and taking them AGAIN. (Or should I?) I’m hoping that my leadership and ECs will set me apart along with overcoming adversity growing up.</p>

<p>I really can only really say for MIT, so I would say it’s a reach. Your standardized test scores are a little low - the biology SAT will be the killer one.</p>

<p>Your ECs are good, though, and slightly balance out the test scores. That, and the recruit status could help tip you over the edge, but I would still say to be prepared for the worst. Good luck for all your schools!</p>
