Chances for my African friend

One of my friends asked me to find out his chances. Here are his stats, his background etc.

School: Competitive public
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: African(From Nigeria, but a green card holder), son of surgeons

GPA: Between 4.3 sophomore year, 4.4 junior year. 1 B in Spanish.
SAT: 2330(236 PSAT). Is a national merit semifinalist.
SAT 2s: 800 in math, and 780 in Biology
5s in Calc AB, Biology, and Comp Sci AB. This year taking AP Chem, AP Gov, AP Calc BC, and Physics Honors.

ECs are his weakness. He has about 150 hours of public service at a local hospital and membership in key club and premed club but no leadership. I think he was under the impression that extracurriculars didn’t matter because he came here from the U.K. in 8th grade and extracurriculars don’t matter there. Interested in medicine.

Most applicants have chances, those who demonstrate passion for something(s) have major chances…lol

Oh, you’re such a nice person, helping your African friend who is the “son of surgeons.” So I suppose he was made by surgeons? Any genetic engineering going on there?
