Chances for New York University and University of Chicago

I’m currently a sophomore in High School, but I’ve been looking at these two schools and wondering if what I have so far is good enough to be admitted.

PSAT Scores: 1750
Critical Reading: 690
Mathematics: 540
Writing: 530

PLAN Scores:
Composite 25
English 21
Math 28
Reading 25
science 24

My GPA right now is between a 3.5 to 3.6 without weighting for honors classes.

I applied this year with the same SAT score and a slightly lower GPA (applied to CAS)… try to pull your SAT score up by 50-150 points and dont forget to involve yourself in ECs and right amazing essays…

Not Sure how to edit, but I do have some awards / EC:

JV Coaches Award
Varsity Letter
Youth Court
Youth group
Academic Teams (masterminds, science bowl)
Year round Soccer
School track

I highly doubt it, you’ll need to improve to like a 1950 SAT or more and a 29 ACT at the least. GPA is about okay.

Yeah, my ACT and SAT should go up to around there. I was running on about 5 hours of sleep both days with no prep, and no breakfast. I’ve also largely fixed my main problem with both (grammar section) which had dragged me down into the mid 80’s percentile range. Thanks for the replies so far!

get off this site, ha. you’re a sophomore.
