Chances for out-of-state?

<p>I am from Virginia, I got a 1140/1800 on SATs and a 26 on ACT. My GPA is a 3.2 UW. I played varsity softball 11+12, JV field hockey 9, rebel club, diversity club 10 , relay for life 10, created a cancer research fund 11+12. I’m a white female. </p>

<p>What do you think my chances are for getting into UMASS?</p>

<p>Why in the world would you chose UMass over one of your less expensive Virginia state schools? Virginia state schools are generally better than MA state schools. How about James Madison?</p>

<p>Just moved down here from New Jersey, honestly can’t stand Virginia. I’m applying to James Madison, but I’m looking to get the heck out of here.</p>
