About the essay…I don’t know if it’s enough to get me past the “first round”, but i’m hoping it’ll at least do something!

You’ve asked…

Several Times.

Just wait another week or so…

14 Days!!! YAY!! lol

Good Luck Everybody!

no offense tipper, but enough of this good luck everybody ******** (and you’re by no means the worst offender). none of us want other people to get in. every other person that gets in reduces one’s own chances. and further, no offense, but i don’t really wanna be going to college with bunch of cc types, all anxious about gpas and sats and how their passions will look on paper all that ridiculousness. and i doubt you do either. so.

^

are you mad at the candy-coated world?

some people actually do get touched by others’ circumstances and honestly wish for their acceptance.

“no offense, but i don’t really wanna be going to college with bunch of cc types, all anxious about gpas and sats and how their passions will look on paper all that ridiculousness”

so why are you talking?

Well, early derision, some of us have the capability of being happy for other people’s success.

And, if you’ve seen any of my other posts, you’d would realize that I am not one of a “bunch of cc types, all anxious about gpas and sats and how their passions will look on paper all that ridiculousness.” I’m the chill laid back person who would love to get accepted to my top choice school, but I am perfectly happy when another person gets accepted to their dream school.

My best friend got flat out rejected from a top school that I got accepted to. She wanted to go there more than anything, and I’m just lackluster about it. I would do anything to pass my spot off to her, or anyone who wants it more than me.

For the record, by joining this sight and commenting on these forums, you yourself have become part of a “bunch of cc types, all anxious about gpas and sats and how their passions will look on paper all that ridiculousness”

Congrats! You’ve just become one of the people that you don’t want to go to school with.

haha i <3 this site lol. cow tipper you rock:D

Mmm. Derision, if anything YOU seem to be the type to be “anxious about gpas and sats and…” simply because you are so annoyed by her comments. So WE’RE the ones who’re ultra-competitive super-worried about college and stuff YET you’re the one who wants to be cut-throat and “GRR I HOPE YOU GET REJECTED SO MY ODDS GO UP BY 0.001%!!!”?

Yeppers! You’re so rational, I think I’m in love.

i never said i wasn’t a cc type; i’ve never posted my stats etc but even if that’s besides the point, so be it. i mean i don’t wanna go to a school with a ton of kids like myself, so if you care to extrapolate that i said precisely that above, that’s fine with me.

and tipper, it’s nothin personal. i mean really, i’m sure you’re great, no kidding. but i do hear “i hope everyone gets in” an awful lost around here, and it’s difficult to believe that everyone means it. especially considering, you know, the quiet desperation – heh, alright, it’s not quiet in the least – that permeates the whole of cc. but if you are for real, god bless.

oh and jeremy, and feng, and bliss etc., for the record i don’t hope you get rejected. (heh you know how Himmler warned the SS against “softness toward individual Jews”). but no, i do not hope that everyone on here gets in, cause that means i won’t. sorry, readership of cc. but that’s how we roll. and you know, i suspect i’m not alone.

Don’t worry, early derision, I totally know what you mean. I know the type of people who are like, “I hope you get in…b*tch.”

well…er…thanks for the replies! I’ll be sure to form a new rejection list :P
