Chances for SCEA

4.5/3.9gpa

2250 sat
33 act

Math club president
Mu Alpha Theta president
computer club president
scholars bowl varsity captain

national ap scholar
national merit commended
college level courses in NYU

No instruments or athletics

What are the chances with these stats? Mostly a lot of top leadership positions…

What do you do as computer club president? Mu Alpha Theta president? I’m kind of curious since we have neither of the clubs on our campus.

Where does your GPA put you rank-wise? How competitive is your school? Have similar applicants like you been accepted from your school in the past?

Your SAT/ACT is solid, don’t get me wrong, but if you look at the compiled Yale SCEA stats on CC, your chances improve greatly with a 2300+.

2nd in class of 100, top 20th high school in nation

C’mon Java: 2nd in your class. Use those finely tuned analytical skills. You’re viable like thousands of other applicants. But will you be noticed? That’s the real question.

Congrats on your achievements so far but why do you need strangers to evaluate your chances? They’re slim. Just like practically everyone’s. Just what kinda answer were you expecting for someone to say to you? Really?

Good luck though.
