I am thinking for engineering or businness
SOme colleges i am thinking of: Oregon State University, University of Maryland at College Park (OOS), MIT, CAL Tech, DUKE, Cornell, UCB (OOS), UCLA (OOS), Stanford,U Penn, Frank olin, Princeton, Illinois Insitute of TECH.
If you guys could also recommend some colleges that would be tight. Thanks a lot

lol, leave out the rec basketball. Also, leave out the B part of the science bowl thing.

anyhow, altogether pointless thread. I feel like such a tool when I answer these kinds of perfect stats threads…esp. for a junior…oh well…I’ll just do it to be nice.

Everything is basically fine, but here are some things to make it BA:
Get your rank to #1
Join the 2300 club (not necessary at all but…you seem like you’d want to join…)
Is that your only SAT2?..you’ll need more than that. 750+'s are nice.
ECs are good but not great…too lopsided towards chess…do some more service.
Be president of something/initiate your own service project. Do some kind of incentive action.

That’s probably good enough. Your stats are already sufficient to give you a great shot anywhere save HYPSMC, but you’ll be a solid applicant there by next year.

There’s your ego boost. Do with it as you may.

^its impossible for me to get rank of #1 now. oh well.
I am actually prolly done with SAT 1. I am taking sat math 2 and physics in june. I am also taking the ACT next month.

lol, it’s not impossible if the people above you get bad grades or…disappear…sabotage, kid c’mon, this is serious. No, but seriously…you’re fine. Keep up the good work. Just know that no one is ever a sure-fire admit to HYP.

Oregon State University, - match
University of Maryland at College Park - match
MIT - high reach
CAL Tech - high reach
Duke - high reach
Cornell - reach
UCB - match, less positive
UCLA - match, OOS is not positive
Stanford - highest reach
U Penn- highest reach
Franklin - reach/match
Princeton - highest reach
Illinois Insitute of TECH - match

With your stats I would say you have a pretty good shot at each school. Your EC’s could be better, and hopefully you will explain them better on your app.

I would say good essays and a 33+ ACT pretty much gives you pretty good odds anywhere.

Oregon State University, - safety
University of Maryland at College Park - safety
MIT - highest reach
CAL Tech - highest reach
Duke - high reach
Cornell - reach
UCB - reach
UCLA - reach
Stanford - highest reach
U Penn- highest reach
Franklin - match
Princeton - highest reach
Illinois Insitute of TECH - safety

I didn’t put match for the princeton/Penns of the list, because those are always a toss up. You have several definite safeties on this list, but I would try to include a few more schools that I would consider solid matches.
