<p>hi! I’ve been looking around this forum and found quite a few people with stats similar to mine, so i figured y not see what my chances are?</p>
<p>Race: Asian (Chinese)
GPA:4.46 (our school doesn’t have tell me unweighted and I don’t want to calculate it, the top guy in my school probably has a 4.7)
Rank: 1 (everyone above 4.0), for sure in top 10 people in our school
School: In the deep south, Most likely best or second best public school in my state (based on # of national merits, ap scholars etc), roughly 2000 people total
Courseload- took as many AP and Honors classes the school offered that i could fit in my schedule</p>

700 Literature (this thing is hard, i reccomend ppl to not take it unless they actually took ap lit in 11th grade, i didn’t so poetry killed me)</p>

Marching Band- 4 years, Woodwind section leader (12th), Alto section leader (11th)
Math Team- 4 years, Secretary (12th)

I’ve heard a myth that since most Asian people are math/science oriented, being more history/english oriented may help me get into college. Does anyone know if this is true? </p>
