Chances for Spr '11 Semester

I am currently a student at a Community College in NJ and I will be applying to attend AU in the Spr of '11. If anyone can provide any suggestions and inform me of my chances of being accepted please do!!

GPA currently - 3.8 ( I plan on bringing this up in the Summer and Fall semesters )

Credtis - 38

I'm non-traditional. If I'm accepted I will be 25 once I start at AU. I work full-time 40+ hours during the day so EC's are not a strong point for me - hopefully this won't hurt me too bad.

I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and I volunteer in all events that my chapter is involved in.

I plan on majoring in Business Mgmt w/ a specialization in Accounting.

Thanks in advance for your comments!!

I think you're fine. Barring any serious changes from Spring 2010 -- I had a 3.7 from a four-year private school and got in.

ECs don't really matter for Transfer Students.

Thanks AUTransfer! How was your first semester at AU? What's your major? Did you do an interview or e-mail your advisor at all during the applying process?

I loved my first semester at AU.

I'm a Political Science major (in DC, shocking...I know)

I wouldn't bother emailing your advisor...at all. Most of them are VERY bad at emailing students back before they start at AU -- as all the class of 2014 are figuring out right now.

If you have any other questions...feel free to message me -- I'm an almost (not really?) non-traditional student, in the sense that I'll be 23 when I graduate next Spring because I took a semester off between transferring.

what are my chances?
