Chances for Stanford MSCS Non-CS Major

Hi,

I am thinking about applying to MS in Computer Science. I majored in Architecture and City Planning, but I’ve developed interests in fabrication and want to get on the software side of things. I am interested particularly in Stanford’s MS in CS program because it does not require a background in CS, which I don’t have. I have experience in “architectural” programming, such as Grasshopper and Processing, but I’ve mainly been working at architecture firms since college.

About me:

*BA Architecture, Minor City Planning, UC Berkeley
*GPA 3.89 (major slightly higher)
*GRE: V730 Q800

What are my chances of getting in? Do you have any recommendations for what I can do to strengthen my application, I know I’m at a disadvantage since I’m not in tech. Regardless, I was going to start taking CS classes to improve my chances in the future.
Thanks in advance for your advice and help!
