Chances for top premed schools?

<p>I am a white female at a large public high school in Texas. I’m interested in going premed at Duke, Emory, Vanderbilt, or WUSTL. My stats are as follows. </p>

<p>Rank: 39/976
Weighted GPA: 5.08 (school weights gpa where AP/H 100 is 6.0, 99 is 5.9 etc. and onlevel classes 100 is 5.0 and 99 is 4.9 etc.)
UW GPA: 3.76
SAT: 2190 (710 CR 710 M 770 W)
ACT with writing: 34 (32 M 35 E 35 S 35 R)
I will have completed 10 APs by graduation (US History, English Language, European History, Psychology, Macro/Micro Economics, Biology, Calculus BC, US Government & Politics, English Literature, Spanish)</p>

<p>I plan on applying to Duke ED.</p>

Yale Explo program (spent 3 weeks on campus, took classes etc.)
Church youth group (mission trips every summer)
200+ hours community service</p>

<p>I would appreciate any estimates on my chances or advice I could use to improve my chances? Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>More leadership ECs and awards would help. Duke seems to be big on the ECs. Your ACT is great, class rank is great. Doing a great job on the essays and application itself will help. But, you are right on track. You should have a great chance at all of those schools.</p>
