I will be a first generation and am extremely focused on attending prestigious universities with dedicated atmospheres. I have narrowed down the search to the following in order of preference: Vanderbilt, Harvard,Yale, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, Notre Dame, and of course OSU and other locals as safeties. And here are my credentials:
ACT:33 (32 E, 33M, 31R, 35S, 10W)
GPA: 4.0 (unweighted), 4.222( weighted)
Class Rank: 1 out of 145
Have taken both AP’s in Lit and Lang and received 3’s on both ( which I know is bad for top-tier and will probably omit)
Senior Schedule:
AP Stats
AP Calc
Honors Physics
Honors Anatomy & Physiology
French 4
English Flex: Internship at local newspaper
*Note there are only four AP’s offered at my high school as it is very small, set in a very rural community with a minute percentage going on to four-year colleges (making me the first to ever apply to these prestigious universities in years and if not the school’s history) and not very focused on college prep, but tech and career prep. And I was the first in the school’s history to take an AP as a sophomore as the guidance counselor recognized my capabilities. Also note that I’m never such a braggart as this.

Elaborate on my chances and what I can do to improve my credentials, if you will.
