Chances for transfer at UW-Madison...low GPA!

<p>I am currently a second semester senior at a University of Wisconsin school.</p>

<p>I have a 2.43 gpa…
I also was placed on academic suspension before
and academic probation…mostly due to a bull s.h.i.t. major I was attempting but changed before it really killed my gpa…</p>

<p>I am hispanic and I know that helps a little…</p>

<p>My mom is also a “professor at large” at UW-Madison and my sister graduated from UW-Madison School of Law so I think this helps a lot??</p>

<p>Make an appointment with the admissions office at UW-M and ask them about your situation. Find out if your mother’s job means that you have reduced tuition and/or preferential admissions. You may need to enroll as a non-degree student for a semester to show that you can do the work.</p>
