All good shots - apply as early as you can to the rollings, and apply early action at Case.

thank you very much for your input

You can get into PSU quite easily. Michigan is a match, as is Case Western.

how about Northwestern, Wake Forest and University of Wisconsin, Madison

NU and WF are reachier but reasonable. I don’t have a good sense for UW Madison so I won’t guess. Good SAT II’s will help you. Remember that your application and essays are all pieces of the puzzle. If you start your essays late summer you will get in enough revisions and feedback so they will be really good.

I don’t think you need to do case EA- it’s not really a boost or anything. NU and WFU are good reaches- possible, reasonable, but who knows. I’m not sure how competetive UW-M is for out-of-staterrs though.

I think EA might help a bit with the merit aid at Case.

Northwestern is a bit harder to get into than Wake Forest; it would probably be a reach, while Wake Forest is more of a reach/match. UofM is a better school than Wake anyway, and you are in-state…

you’re in at wisconsin, btw. at least a safe match.
