Chances for UC Davis & Purdue

<p>i am unsure what level of university i am a strong candidate at
My weighted GPA sophmore year was 4.0-1st semester and 3.6-2nd semester
I haven’t taken the SAT yet but my PSAT scores are ridiculously low (btwn 1300-1450)
I am an Eagle Scout
I have been part of my high school’s wrestling team for three years now and planning to do it senior year
I am part of 2 clubs but do not have a position
Over the summer, I will be doing a 150-hr internship. I am undecided on where I want to be an intern at.</p>

<p>I know that I stand no chance at UCB, UCLA, Standford level but want to know if I have a shot at University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne or UC Davis level</p>

<p>UCD: Raise your SAT to 1850+ or score on the 27+ ACT and it will become a match
Purdue: 1850+/27+ will make Purdue a safety
UIUC: See UCD</p>

<p>Do work on your SAT. Which is your weak point?
You’ve a good shot at UCIC and Purdue. UCD is a match.
Your ECs are fine.</p>

<p>Decent ECs, but not amazing. Bring up your SAT. Good shot at both schools. Decent chance at UCD. Good luck.</p>

<p>My main weak point is Critical Reading. My worst score is normally writing but my essay brings the score up.</p>

<p>what other ECs do you recommend me doing at midpoint of junior year to make them good?</p>

<p>What is your weighed GPA. 3.7uw/1700 or 3.5uw/1900 should do the trick at UCD.</p>

<p>my average unweighted for both semesters of my sophmore year is 3.58</p>
