Chances for UCLA/Berkley

I was wondering if I had any chance of getting into UCLA/ Berkley

Can you get into UCLA/Berkley without doing a whole lot of extracurriculars? I’ve seen people list like 10,000 awards/ec (like captain of debate team, president of this club, treasurer of this committee yadadad) and it scares me because I only have like 1 or 2.

Is there a good chance that I can get into UCLA with a 4.81 GPA (all A’s), a 2300+ SAT, and around 15 AP’s (with good AP exam scores) but without being president of clubs etc?

I’m don’t have any offices in any clubs because it seems like these days, popularity is the key to holding office…
And I don’t have lots of extracurriculars, I only have one main one: soccer
I’ve played soccer for about 11 years now,
Captain of High School Soccer team: 3 yrs
Varsity Soccer: 3 yrs
I also play on a club team and the club is ranked top 40 in the nation.
I spend on average 12 hours a week playing soccer (this week I spent around 22 hours)

I also heard that colleges like depth and not breadth? But it seems like in the end, the kids that stack up their applications with loads of achievements (overachievers) always end up with the sweet side of the tootsie pop.

So to conclude, is there a pretty decent chance that I can get accepted to UCLA based SOLELY on my academics (4.81 GPA, 2300+SAT) and my sports? Does being a valedictorian 3 year varsity soccer player stand out in any way? And are only good grades and one extracurricular sufficient enough to be accepted into these top UC’s?

Yes, you will very likely get in to both, based on GPA, SAT’s AND a decent essay. UC specify that they put more weight into those three criteria than EC’s. You should get in easily, especially if you’re in a CA public school.
