I was wondering what my chances are for getting into UCLA. I have been a junior college student since 2004. I was mostly taking classes because it was expected of me. The result was 23 classes and a 1.3 GPA. In fall 2008 I had a math professor who I really enjoyed, and I turned my act around. My GPA has been quickly increasing since then.

My school allows for academic renewal. (This forgives two semesters). This brought my GPA up to a 1.8. My last two semesters I have received all As, which brought my GPA up to 2.94. I will be applying in November 2010, so my GPA should be 3.41 when I apply.

My major is Mathematics, and my junior college has an honors program that I will be enrolled in and almost done with when I apply.

Do you think my last few semesters will be enough to repair the damage I have already done to my transcript? Do you have any advice to increase my chances to get accepted? I still have almost a year ahead of me before I have to apply. Thanks for any input!
