Chances for UCs and others?

3.4 GPA

29 on ACT
780 on French SAT subject
800 on Math II
760 on US History

What are my chances for Berkeley, LA, SD, Davis?
How about for some liberal arts schools - Claremont, Pomona, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd? Do I have a chance at those? I need financial aid, so I’d have to get a school with financial aid… Or a cheaper school. I also like LACs, so could you guys recommend some for me? Thanks.

Is your 3.4 UC weighted?

29 ACT is about a 1900 SAT I would guess?

Really nice SAT II’s.

I would say:

UCB, UCLA-reach
UCSD-slight reach-reach
Davis-Match? GPA could be a little higher but a decent ACT score

Also are you in state? Gives you a better chance

Claremont, Pomona and Harvey Mudd are all very hard to get into. Pitzer is a little easier to get into. They look at EC’s a lot as well, but you didn’t list any. Don’t know that much about LAC’s though. They are privates, so very expensive but you can get good financial aid.

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: reach
UCSD: reach
UCD: probably a high match - match, depending on your UC GPA

I would say the Claremonts are reaches for you. Do you have any ECs or honors/awards?
