Thanks  Any tips & suggestions appreciated!

Well I would say that your extracurricular are not great so I would really work on focusing your application on your passion to help bring it all together to show how you would contribute to a college because your ECs don’t really match your major.

I think it is very good that you challenged yourself academically and did well. It will definitely help with large schools like the UCs especially considering your ranking.

I would worry a bit about test scores because they are on the lower side. Maybe try taking some SAT IIs and see if you could demonstrate your skill in areas you are passionate about like the APs you have recently taken?

Please chance back-

For the UC’s you seem like a solid candidate and like smartcookie said the EC’s aren’t really in your favor sorry. However try to retake the SAT and reach for a 1950-2000 for the best chance. Cal Poly might be a reach though so keep that in mind.

Chance me please thank you http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1712976-chance-me-uf-ga-tech-nyu-emory-and-georgetown-will-chance-back.html#latest

SAT/ACT a little low for the UC’s and Cal Poly SLO.

SLO/UCSD: Reach/Low Reach
UCSB: High Match/Low Reach
UCSC/Concordia/SCU: Match
Cal Lutheran: Low Match
The rest ??? I do not know

Hi. I your extracurriculars aren’t terrible, but your test scores could be higher. If you have a great essay, it could realy sway the decision.

UCSD- it might be a reach for you, so hopefully your essay can pull it through! (:
UCSB- easier than UCSD, and your extracurriculars seem to match a lot of my friends’ extracurriculars who went their, so you should be decent for it. It’s still a reach, but I think you have a chance.
UCSC- closer to a target; they’re still a growing UC campus I think, so that increases your odds. They’re super liberal, so if you’re into that, I’m sure they would take you if you express that in your application (though that might not be helpful since the UC app does go to all the UC’s you apply to)
St. Mary’s (Moraga)- sorry… I’ve never heard of it
Cal Lu- you have a large chance of getting into this one
Santa Clara- this should be about the same difficulty level of UCSB… maybe a tad easier, but you have a chance
Marquette University- sorry… I don’t know about this school either. haha
Concordia University- I’ve visited it before! It’s a great place. It should be a decent school with your stats. I would say it’s a 60y/40n, but that’s still good.
University of Portland- I have a friend there, and he loves it. I think you have a decent chance of getting in. Your stats are better than his, so I would say yes for you.
Cal Poly SLO- I heard this one has gotten increasingly difficult to get in, so I would call this one a reach. They have rejected some very impressive people yet taken some not so stellar people as well. To be honest, I feel like it is kind of random, but it would definitely be a reach due to its changing admissions pattern.

Good luck, and please chance me back!

I’d say UCSD and Cal Poly are reaches for you, rest matches, You have a solid ranking and gpa; test scores are low though. Try to break 1900. Good luck !

Chance me back?
