I think you have great chances but try improving your unweighted/weighted gpa because there are people with higher gpa and that is pulling you back.

With a 3.9 GPA, you’ll be a reach at all those schools especially UCSD. But you should get into UCSC easily, if you applied there.

Thanks goldenbear2020. UCSB has a very strong physics program which I’m interested in, any advice for boosting my chances for that particular school?

You have a strong shot at all of these schools.

Is 3.9 your UC GPA (capped weighted)? What is your SLO GPA since they 9th grades in their GPA calculation?

Not sure about my SLO GPA , don’t have my transcript with me ATM.
Yes, 3.6UW 3.9W UC GPA. Out of the 4 semesters, 3 of them were pretty much all As with a B or two
However, second semester sophomore year, I was admitted into the hospital for a few weeks and my health greatly suffered, so my performance in school went down as I was focused on my health, IDK if I can write that in my personal statement.
