Hey everyone, I went to Community College straight out of high school and will have my A.A. degree at the end of Fall semester this year.
What are my chances of getting accepted into UNCG as a transfer student in Spring semester 2012 if my G.P.A. is a lowly 2.7?
I noticed they don’t require essays or interviews, could I request these things anyways? Also, is there anything I can do to ensure I get accepted?

Just some more info, my grades dropped due to 3 deaths in my family plus my car throwing a rod so being there to support my family plus not having reliable transportation had a lot, but not everything, to do with it.
Nothing too special I can put on an application except that I’m working full time (60 hour weeks sometimes) since I’m a manager at a casino and have been getting better grades then I was before the hardships.
Would UNCG consider this upward grade slope and management experience enough to see passed my 2.7?
