<p>Pretty good ECs. All those volunteer hours will make your application look even better. I’d say you have a great chance at Iowa and Richmond. Case Western and Rochester may be a little bit of a reach. I think you’ll have an ok chance with Brandeis, Wake Forest, and Boston.</p>

<p>I would disagree with the previous poster - I think URichmond is harder to get into that BU and maybe a few of the others. I think you still have a good shot at any though.</p>

<p>My main two schools I want to get into are University of Rochester and University of Richmond. What do you guys think are my chances of getting into those two schools? I’m a junior right now and have time to bring my gpa up. Is there anything I should do to prepare for applying to these schools?</p>

<p>I think your credentials look good. I am the parent of both a Rochester and Brandeis alum. Both schools will look for strong essays and showing demonstrated interest by either campus visit or off-campus hotel event, or meet with college rep when they visit your high school. You can also request an on-campus interview, off-campus interview or alumni interview.</p>

<p>Thanks for the information. I just looked up their website though, and it seems there are no possible interviews or anything related to the university going on in my state, Iowa. How do the off-campus interviews work?</p>

<p>Good shot at Rochester. I’m applying there as well, so it’s the only one I can really speak for. I haven’t shown a bit of interest, so I’m nervous despite my stats being close to the upper end. I also applied to Brandeis, and feel it is a bit harder to get accepted to. I’m really impressed with what I have heard and seen from Rochester, but Brandeis has disappointed me since my application and I would have to place it near the bottom of my list at this point. Especially with their rough financial situation…</p>
