Hi! This is my first post here so if I screw up somehow please forgive me!!

I’m a rising senior who is looking to study Psychology or Neuroscience at either Wellesley or Scripps. I plan to apply to Wellesley ED but I would also like to know chances at Scripps RD. I obviously have backups but just want an opinion :)

My stats are:

SAT I: 2020 (second time, may take again to superscore)
SAT Subject test: Pending, took US history, Biology, and Chemistry
ACT: 31 (first time, unlikely to retake)

Public School, GPA: ~3.7-3.8ish UW (estimate, not specified in current transcript), 4.34 W

Lower GPA is due to having 4 Bs on the first semester of freshman year (moved from Canada, adjusting difficulties), all of my other semesters have been all As except for one B in a difficult class

Taken all honors/AP classes available: took AP Euro (4) sophomore year, this year took AP Chem, AP Lit, AP USH, and AP Psych

Senior year taking AP Lang, AP Bio, and AP Macro, along with the rest being honors classes

ECs: President/Founder of Gay Straight Alliance, National Forensics League (nothing special though, only advanced to semis at state), Secretary of French Club, Writing Club, Guitar Lessons

Volunteering: Tutoring every week, Student Mentor this year (meaning I have to help freshman get adjusted to high school), 50+ hours of various service

Hooks: Hispanic girl, that hardly counts as a hook but maybe that’ll give me a better chance?

My recs will be pretty good and I’ll be spending a lot of time on my essays

So what do you think?

Lame state, that’s why I’m looking for far away schools
