<p>I should be writing my essays considering that the deadline is less than two weeks away, but here goes my stats…</p>

<p>Academics:
GPA: 4.52W/4.00UW, 5/700ish in a public FL school
SAT’s: 690CR, 760M, 660W (11/12 essay), I did retake these last weekend and I think I did better (especially on that writing)
SAT II’s: 770 Biology-E, 750 Math IIC, 690 USH
ACT’s: 33 Composite (would count as 34 if they combined scores)
AP’s: World History-5, USH-5 (does that balance out my 690 SAT II?), Eng. Lit.- 4</p>

<p>Have you spoken to a swimming coach there or anything? I hear their pool is sweet.</p>

<p>No, according to their times posted on the “Are you recruitable?” page, I’m not yet recruitable. I wasn’t going to contact him for a little while longer, as I would be getting into Yale for academics rather than athletics right now. I’m working on getting faster, so by March or the end of the summer I will have times fast enough to walk on to their swim team.</p>

<p>ERH - If you are considering/wanting to swimming/swim in college - have you considered the other IVY’s - whose times you be a bit closer to?? And yes - you academics are 1st priority :)</p>

<p>Yea, I’ve actually gotten onto the mailing list for Princeton and Dartmouth’s swim teams. Dartmouth in particular has sent me a lot of stuff, and when I apply there in January I plan to take advantage of that.</p>
