Intended major: Chinese arts and literature/foreign affairs
High School: Denver School of the Arts (Denver, Colorado)
Extracurriculars:
-competitive dancer (20+ hours/week)
-volunteer at Give Kids the World during summers
-Model United Nations
-volunteer teacher for kindergarteners at dance
I am currently a dance major at Denver School of the Arts yet am still deciding between pursuing the arts or going down the path of Chinese arts and literature paired with foreign affairs. I skipped one grade which explains my slightly young age in relation to my grade level. This year I doubled up on sciences and took one AP class (the hardest curriculum available to me).
Would it be a possibility for me to attend a top-tier university? Would I have a chance at getting accepted to Yale Young Global Scholars summer program?
