I am planning to send an abstract; however, the publisher i turned it in to is still evaluating it and they wanted me to shorten it before they publish it at JBJS; so do i write “in process” of being published if i am doing SCEA, because it wont be completed until about decemberish

stanford allows you to include an abstract of papers you’ve written? wow that’s good cause I thought they didn’t…but now I’m happy that they apparently do? =)

yeah actually I just went and looked at the application instructions and it says “If you have an extraordinary talent in the fine or performing arts – art, dance, drama, and music only – you may submit supplementary materials for consideration by our faculty.”

edit: and they say “Remember: Do not send additional materials as they will not be evaluated. Any unsolicited additional materials will be discarded.”

I’m guessing it only really matters if you win stuff like Siemens or Intel. I submitted something to Siemens but I’m really really really really worried that my mentor didn’t send her form. AGH! I only have 5 more days until they disregard my submission :'(
