Your stats (scores and grades) will put you in the range. What matters a lot at Chicago is the essays. Take the Uncommon Application seriously, and do that well. More than any other school, Chicago really seems to emphasize the importance of the writing in the application. If you can add a great essay, you have a solid shot.

chicago doesnt consider the sat2’s right? so does taht mean my 640 wont really hurt my chances?

yeah they dont. but it is good to have them and almost everyone submits them

but if i submit like…crappy scores like 640…wont that hurt me more than it helps?

yeah
so just take them again. math is really easy. so i english

You don’t have a choice- When you submit your SATs, you submit all your SATs- I and II

Yes. So in short, that 640 will taint your entire admissions process with failure.

But in the real world, they look at what will help (not harm) you.

You’re good to go, tiger claw.

umm by english do you mean lit… and i was actually considering only sending in the ACT score. and i really cant tell if esquared is being sarcatic or not.

He’s kidding, send in all your scores. Show that you have nothing to hide. Also, Chicago doesn’t take SAT scores into account as much as how you do in school and your personal quatlities. Your essays are the most important part of your application.
