Chances here?

Hey, I’m new here, and hopefully this is in the right section. I was wondering what colleges are eligible for me when I have these…um…credentials.

Sophomore in high school.

Class of 2013.

Currently taking three AP classes: European History, World History, and Language.

Rest of my classes are mostly Honors/Pre-AP level.

In orchestra.

A few clubs.

Weighted GPA: 4.125. Unweighted GPA: 3.8.

I’m looking to go into pre-med.

Do you think I have a good chance for going to a good school after high school? What colleges would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you have a great chance in school such as Brown, Boston university, NYU, University of north caroline chapel hill and such. keep up the good work and get at least a 2000 on the SATs and you’ll be good to go!

Chance back please: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1090817-what-my-chances-gettin-into-penn-state-u-pitt.html

Those aren’t credentials. Come back when you have SAT scores and class rank.

Forgot to mention that I got a 195 on the PSAT in both my freshman and sophomore year. Thanks for the critique, by the way.

schomohawk: That was poor wording on my part. I didn’t know how else to describe my status. I have yet to take the SAT, but my class rank is something like a 30/685.

Soph rank is meaningless as far as chances, plus no standardized test scores = not enough data to chance.

just work hard and enjoy your life… and success will come your way … :)
