you stats are good…
do you have any research (to show “passion for math/science”)?
you can apply to Summer Science Program (www.summerscience.org), or walk right into the nearest college, right into the first room you’ll see, and persuade the first professor you see there to do some kind of reasearch this summer.
yeah :)

No research, but I did think about the SSP. Its just that I run druing the summer with my team, and I was worried I would be too busy to run there. Will doing SSP boost my application alot?

Well…hehe…That’s what i’m trying to find out on the other thread :)

One thing is sure–it won’t hurt you
It is relatively well-know and well-respected among “good colleges”, but I’m not sure it will boost your (or anyone’s) application as much as RSI or IMO, etc, etc will.

Did you do it last year? Did you like it/ did you have any free time?

who cares how ssp looks on your app? i went last summer and it was the best 6 weeks of my life.

cheers!

no, i’ve never went to this program before, but im applying this year
(although i have no chance of being accepted  )

And yes, I also believe that if I get in, I’m going to have the best 6 weeks in my life, too :)

B.u.m.p…

can u get recruited for track?

regardless, i think u have above average chances
