I have done my MSc in Imperial College London ( Communications and Signal Processing). I got it with distinction ( one of the top 4 ). I have done my undergraduate overseas (Sudan) . I graduated top of my class. I would like to apply to all the top universities in EE in US MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Caltech to do my PhD in telecommunication (wireless communication)

I am really worried about the admission in these universities especially that I have to wait till December to get admissionfor the next fall which effectively means that I have to wait for more than 1 and half years. The thing that makes me worried is that the GPA system in my undergraduate university is different than US. It is almost impossible to give student more than 8.3 out of 10 (3.32 out of 4). I have got 3.12 but as I said I was the top of my class. Will these universities take this into account. Do you think that my applicatikon will survive applying to these top fo the world universities.

Another thing is which university will give me better chance to have funding.

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks
