<p>HI, i wanted to know wht my chances are of getting into penn early
applying to the college of arts and science</p>

<p>applying early…no financial aid…Northern VA public high school</p>

<p>3.9 GPA …taken 8 APs in high school and mostly challenging courses
top 10 percentile</p>

<p>SAT: 1310 english 660 math 650
-Senior class president
-junior class respresentitive
-4yrs Varsity debate
captain varsity debate 11th, 12th…went to nationals…won several tournaments
jv debate captain 10th
-Varsity tennis
-many leadership awards including top 100 leaders in the state
-lots of community service
-internship with boston philharmonic
-governers school
-been in the country only 4yrs!</p>

<p>I’ve got a good feeling you’re from Fairfax County. You’re just one of many at this board.</p>

<p>Looking at your record, you’ve got it made pretty good. What is keeping me from saying that you’ve got a good match w/ Penn is your SAT score. Definitely not brilliant, especially for ivy league. Hopefully the rest of your record, along with whatever essays you’ve written and recommendations, will offset that. </p>

<p>In other words, can’t say 100% you’re in, but I think you’re close.</p>

<p>Interesting case…the fact that you’re from another country will definitely help you a bit, hopefully offset your relatively low sat scores. Pretty good shot though.</p>
