You dont need to submit any ACT scores with those SATs, especially if you get your SAT score any closer to that of the your PSAT. And yeah, your stats look really really good.

good chance of just getting in, medium chance of getting in the honors program or some scholorship, rather small chance of getting waitlisted because your stats are too high.

As long as you dont have terrible essays and recs you shouldnt worry about being rejected, maybe its possible but unless you have some sort of criminal history i cant see it happening.

Also, what do you mean by cit’s psychology. It is in the h&ss school not the engineering part. Or were you just using the 1970s name for cmu?

One more thing, the psychology program is really good but you will be in the h&ss school which as a whole is not so respected and far easier to get into than the other depts at cmu. You probably could get in a ‘better’ or more selective liberial arts program. Make sure to look at the other majors you might change to and the general environment, do not think that because cmu is amoung the best for grad school cognitive psy that it is the best place to do undergrad psy. Not to say that it is a bad place but make sure you look at the things that define the education beyond just that.
