Chances into UCLA?

Hey people!
I got 1860 in my first attempt of SAT, will give again to get 2000+

I’ve participated in 20+ Model UNs and Debates, and won most. I’m the president of the Model UN Society of my school, have chaired conferences, have been the Secretary General of my school’s conference.

I am in the Student Council of my school, in the capacity of General Secretary, second in command after the Head Boy.

I have been doing community service and have 50+ hours, and still counting.

I have participated in many science exhibitions and competitions, and won most.

Apart from that, I have taken part in many international competitions, including UN ones.

I have a 3.5 GPA <on a="" 4="" scale,="" converted="" online="">

I’m looking at UCLA with an Aerospace engineering course.
What do you think my chances are, getting in?

If you can recommend any other university as well, i’ll be really thankful.

Thanks in advance

Chances at UCLA are slim unless you bump up your SAT and GPA. UC’s only use 10-11th grades for their GPA calculation and UCLA will also use the uncapped & capped UC GPA. You want around a 4.0+ capped/uncapped UC GPA along with a 2100+ SAT for the best chances at engineering.

If in-state California, look at San Diego State, Cal Poly Pomona, San Jose State and Long Beach State also UC Irvine and Davis which would be slight reaches.

Hi!
Thanks for the help. I’m definitely looking to bump my SAT score upwards of 2000, and as per my GPA, I’m in India, where we get percentage, so i converted it online.

Online conversion is misleading. UCLA will know how to interpret your %.
