<p>According to the government there is no difference between Middle Eastern and White (Middle Eastern with Iran being the easternmost part of the Middle East), so I don’t think it would be any good. Because you are “white”, you aren’t a URM.</p>
<p>Well I am like Pakistani and Saudi Arabian, so I dont know but, it wont make a difference for berkeley and la right?–cause it is under L&S; what about the other UC’s?</p>
<p>Pakistani is not Middle Eastern, it is South Asian (therefore Asian). Saudia Arabian is Middle Eastern (hence White). Neither are considered URMs, so race will have no impact.</p>
