376 views and no replies? I’ll chance you back

Probably have a good chance at all though you could get rejected from 1-2 regardless…

Bump chance me please

Most likely in at all, save one random rejection

“Southern Ivy” eyeroll…
Several of the ivys aren’t even the highest ranked schools… calling something the “ivy” is so stupid

Vandy- Possibly
Emory- Yes
Rice- Probably
Virginia- Nope. Out of state curse
Georgetown- You’re pretty generic for Gerogetown… so waitlist

Yappinmatt,

Did you win back to back state championships in 2-man policy debate and go to nationals twice from NJ. If so, you should be pretty well known in the debate world and might consider the following schools with awesome debate programs (and scholarship money, usually half, for non-Ivies): Dartmouth, Wake Forest Southern Cal, and Northwestern.

As for the schools you listed, you look good (at least 50% chance) for Vandy and Georgetown, a lock for Emory.

Rice is a bit more mercurial. Rice takes half its students from Texas and my impression is that the farther away you reside from Texas, the greater the burden you bear to show true interest in Rice. A bit odd to me because having been there it is an awesome school that can compete for the best students with all except maybe HYPSM.

UVA OOS is also unpredictable given the huge numbers of OOS students who flock there if HYPS do not take them.
