Chances? Midwest

So I have a friend who is a senior now and he is applying ED to Northwestern. He has other colleges in mind so he won’t be devastated if he isn’t accepted at Norhtwestern, mind you. I’m really rooting for him because he is so smart, and he works very very hard. Here are his stats:

He’s involved in 7 ECs: Varsity football, varsity swimming, varsity water polo (captain since jr. year), Peer Leadersip Network, National Honors Society, Athletes Commited to Excellence, he worked at a tree service as a sophomore, and lifeguarded from junior summer to senior summer (so 3 summers…hard to explain haha) He has been in football/swimming/water polo for all 4 years
He got 2nd team all sectional as a junior for water polo.

Oh and he also shadowed a head doctor (orthopedic surgeon) for a summer for 18 hours a week with no pay, since he wants to be a doctor.

He is ranked 25 out of 470, so that is the top 5-6 percentile

His ACT score is a 31… And he got 3s on his AP US and AP euro tests, and a 4 on his AP spanish and a 5 on his AP chem.

He is currently taking AP Micro, Accounting honors, AP Biology, Popular Literature (next sem. expository writing), Spanish 5 honors, and AP Calc BC.

oh and he is white, just to clear that matter.

He has a GPA of 5.515

Well, if he is declined for ED for NU he also is hoping to be accepted at any of the following:
-U of I
-Notre Dame
-Indiana U
-University of Wisconsin

He has applied to the business school of U of I, Wisconsin, and Indiana
and Arts and Sciences colleges of Notre Dame and Northwestern

so what are his chances???
Thanks!
