For UCLA/UCBerkeley, you need to know your UC GPA. A handful of people on the boards are almost dissuaded from applying there because they think their cumulative GPAs are what the UC’s consider. The UC’s will consider sophomore and junior year grades, with a maximum 8 semesters of APs, and only A-G classes considered. If your 3.4 is the result of a screw up freshman year, then there’s hope yet. Until you know for sure what your UC GPA is, I would avoid trying to chance that.

I’ve seen people with worse get into Pepperdine, so I would say you have a good shot there.

USC is going to be a reach, although your EC’s seem decent enough.

Does that mean that I would need to get 2300-2400 on my SAT retake this October? And if I retake my SAT2’S I’d need to retake and get high 700’s anddd ace my senior year to up my gpa? Ahh not sure what my UC gpa is >_< yet

Cause I really want to go to USC. But I’m kinda of debating cause should I kill myself trying to raise my SAT’s when raising it I still may not have a chance at all. Hah That’s why I’m a little bleh

If it helps, you could go on the USC forum and see just exactly what kind of stats people got when they were admitted/rejected. Bear in mind that people on CC tend to be a strong pool, so it might not necessarily reflect USC’s overall competitiveness. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=294755&highlight=official+decisions

Again with the UC GPA, post up your grades and classes from 10th~11th grade and someone here can calculate it for you (takes less than 2 minutes)
