chances- need more schools?

<p>My daughter is aiming high and I am worried that she needs more safeties.
Please give me your thoughts
We live in Maine
Applying to Bowdoin, Brown, Cornell, Colgate, Dartmouth, Middlebury, Northwestern, Northeastern, Tufts, Wake Forest, Washington University, Vanderbilt</p>

<p>Yeah, I would agree. She looks like a great applicant, but the SAT Scores are a little low for many of the schools she’s applying to.
Will she run track in college? Because if so, many times that will help her get through the admissions process, with a small push from the coach or a letter written to the admissions team.
Northeastern is really the only safety. And in my mind, for her I wouldn’t call it a 100%. I would greatly recommend applying to other LACs: possibly Bates, Colby, Colgate, etc. schools of that caliber.
She seems very intelligent, but I wouldn’t put her high in the admissions pool at many of those schools.</p>

<p>Chances are high that she will get in to at least one or two of those top-notch schools, however I would add a few more nearly-guaranteed schools to that list for safekeepings.</p>
