If this was the profile of a caucasian or asian middle income student, I’d say it was a long shot.

Considering you’re under-represented minority status, low income, and first generation college student- you’ve got a shot. Your CR score you should’ve gotten up, as that is most likely to hurt you- having a 700 and ~2140 would put you in another league. Also your subject tests should all be 700+, as that shows you know how to learn material and will be able to handle Stanford level classes.

However, your resume and stats are very strong so you’re sure to get in somewhere great! Stanford even for the most competitive applicants, however, is only a 15-20% shot, it’s all just a crap shoot. If your essays are gorgeous pieces of work that show you’d bring something special to Stanford from your unique circumstances, you’ve got a great (as in still less than 25%) chance.

Good luck! Look forward to seeing you on campus!

Thanks for the feedback. I decided not to retake the math level 2 this morning. I didn’t feel confident, but do you think an A in ap calc one my midyear report will show that I’m capable of handling the math?

Colleges like standardized test scores because they can be sure that everyone got the same treatment and the same test. While an A on your transcript does show math competence, Stanford doesn’t know how challenging/easy your class was. I would say then that the Math score is a weakness in your application. However, like haginraindow said, your hooks give you a shot. Good luck!
