<p>Socaldad, I do agree with you however i do feel those numbers to be close to the mark for 2012 admissions. I’ve found with scoring the translation from act to sat is usually more favorable for students than the other way around. My d had a superscore of 30. (she did not qualify for honors and was told she was just outside the range) Several of her classmates. (OOS) many scored in the mid 20’s and were not admitted. Admissions told us the spike in requirements went through the roof this year and had their biggest increase ever. That would make sense since as of this past fall/spring admissions only had 2011 date to go on. Every year it does get tougher. So although every school likes to plump things to make it look better I don’t think the data on there is far off the mark. Since the OP is OOS it’s a good estimate that they would have to get near the mid 20’s on ACT or better to be admitted esp coming from PA where the application pool runs very deep.</p>
