Hi, I’m not going to say it’s impossible for you to get in but you’re gonna have to really work your senior year and let U Del know it’s your first choice loud and clear.

I just looked at the stats posted on college board. It’s going to be a bit of a struggle coming from out of state. Just from their stats they show that 79% of their students come from the top 25% of their graduating class. that’s not to say you don’t come from a super competitive school where that ranking may make you appear lower than you are but I just went off their stats.

You will really need to dig in and study for those ACT’s. Give it your all! I’m sure you can raise that grade, you will want to get closer to a 26 to be accepted but hopefully you had one or two high scores on your previous test and u del does super score the ACTs.

your courses look pretty good for this year. you will have do excel this first semester and get those transcripts in to show how well you’ve done. The U del application process will benefit you since they will not make a final decision on your until after those grades will be in.
I wish you’d had more years of a language. In NJ now the minimum and my children’s school is 3 years of the same language and although U del only requires 2 they recommend taking all 4 years. I’m sure there are many out there that have been accepted with 2 but that’s just my take on it.

Continue to work on your community service, let them know what responsibilities you had with each and how valuable you were to your groups.

Make sure you establish a relationship with an admissions counselor and interview. let them know how much you want to be there. your passion and enthusiasm can sometimes move mountains in this process. they want kids that want to be there!

good luck to you! you came across very well in your question as someone who has pride and enthusiasm, I’m sure U Del would be proud to have you as long as you keeping working hard. :)
