Chances of Admission

What would be my chances of admission at schools like Georgetown, Penn, Colgate, Boston College, etc?

I’m a rising senior that attends a fairly elite boarding/prep school in Pennsylvania. My school does not rank its students. I have a challenging courseload because all of the classes at my school are difficult and I am in many honors and AP level courses.

Sats: 700 Verbal 660 Math 680 Writing- These will hopefully go up because I will take them again early in the Fall

Subject Tests: 720 US History 710 Math 680 Literature

AP Exams: US History 5 US Government 5 English Literature 3

GPA: 3.6

Activities: President of Student Government for Senior year, Vice President of My Class for all 4 years, Head of Orientation, Head of Student Auction, Head of Field Day, Chair of Election Committee, Varsity ice hockey-Captain, Varsity Tennis, Peer Group, Peer Mentor… I’m involved in too much to list but those are the basics

Awards- Deans List, An award given to one student who shows excellence in the classroom, leadership, and sensitivity to others, an award given to 8 juniors for a full scholarship to live on campus for their senior year- the schools highest honor

I Couldn’t list the names of the awards because that would be meaningless. That is pretty much all I can think of listing. If I missed something vital, tell me and I will respond. Thanks in advance.

national Deans list is a scam. don’t ever put it on your personal statement. adcom will laugh their asses off if you weren’t the only one deceived

I dont mean national deans list, I mean deans list at my school. The other two awards listed are also given out there

then you should definitely specify that on your application.

What school is this?

decent shot at all except Penn which is a reach…but you need some safeties/safe matches as those are all leaning towards reachy matches…

I do have some safety schools like Franklin and Marshall, Bucknell, Loyola, University of Scranton, etc… But I was more interested in my chances of getting into some of the top tier schools that I am looking at.

JPod: I go to Hill School
