I have somewhat of an unusual situation (well, however unusual it may be, on a national level, I have not a clue).

Anyway, I’m sixteen, and currently work for Microsoft. I’ve been offered numerous jobs with Apple, Google, Amazon and PayPal, and receive anywhere from one to five full-time job offers per week.

I’m part of a fairly small team of world-class designers, and have been acclaimed by Microsoft as among the best designers in the world. I consult for Microsoft (while working on their bellwether suite of products, Microsoft Office), and a large portion of proposed designs are approved by yours truly (ha). Also have a four-page r

That work stuff designer stuff is insanely unique!

I’d say you’re in!

Freshman year it was a 3.7; sophomore year, a 3.9.

Very good chance of being accepted.

sir, I thank you for applying rd!

Wow! Great extracurrics! Very unique applicant…Best of luck!

What do you plan on majoring in?

I’m leaning towards economics, but I may minor in a medical field.

If you work at Microsoft, then why don’t you major in Computer Science?

I don’t even think they will consider you for admission. Why did you skip Junior year? Junior year is the most important year that colleges look at.

You are a very cool applicant, and someone I’d love to hang with on campus. I think you have a great chance, of course. FYI, my school graduated a kid at age 15 a couple of years ago, also exceptionally smart, and had their pick of colleges. Is Stanford your first choice?

StanfordCS, of course they’ll consider his application. As long as he gets his diploma and follows the application instructions, they can’t reject his application without consideration. There are no required subject units, only recommended ones ([College Search - Stanford University - The Farm - Admission](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)).

ha, I actually had the idea of starting a paperless receipt company. Kudos to you for actually having the drive to make it happen.

My only question is why go to college at all when you could live the life of a hotshot entrepreneur without it? And an econ degree seems like it would be of very little value to someone of your skill set, unless you want to go Wall Street and become a quant (in which case a math degree would still be far better).

And I don’t just ask this because I see you as potent competition.
